Old Business
-
The groomer is done and on its way home.
Unfortunately there were some problems at the weigh station hauling the
groomer and at this point, we are trying to get it home. Problems with the
trailer created a fine of $364.00 which needs to be paid. Marvin asked for
a motion to pay the fine. Motion by Willard, second by Debbie, motion
carried.
-
There is no bill for the groomer yet.
-
Chuck made a motion to pay Matt the entire amount of the cost for hosting the web site for one year
($15.00 per month). Second by Wayne. Motion carried.
-
Trail clean up had been cancelled due to bad
weather. The trail is acceptable and we can do some trimming of limbs if
we get a chance.
-
A question has come up about our insurance
covering our grader driver. After exploring it and talking to the
insurance company, we have received a letter which stated that the
operator of the equipment has always had the liability coverage, but we
did learn that we need a lease agreement from Jon for use of the grader. It
was good that the question was asked and we got clarification so we can
add the necessary coverage for the grader itself. We just renewed our
collision coverage on the groomer, and since it is paid for, we no longer
need it for the bank. Maybe next
year we can talk about taking it off.
New Business
-
There was a grader in the paper that looked
interesting, but it was gone when Charles called.
-
We discussed donations from the club. Motion by
Charles and second by Jan to donate $100.00 to the children’s Christmas
party again this year. Motion carried. Motion by Debbie and second by Mary
to donate $500.00 to the Northwood Education Foundation as a designated
fund for winter clothing or items needed by the students. We need to order
wreaths for the land owners. We should add the new land owner by Pogo’s. Motion
by Charles and second by Willard to
have Patti and Mary find the list of owners and order the wreaths.
-
We should check our signs on the trail before
winter to see if any are needed.
-
We discussed a change in our schedule for meeting
and decided that it was not necessary to have two meetings in January. New
meeting schedule for 2007 will be out soon.
-
Discussed the Winter Raffle and decided to do it
the same again this year. The drawing will be at the February meeting and
we will try to get tickets out before deer season.
-
A membership letter will be coming out soon with
a few updates from the year.
-
Meat raffles are November 4th and 18th.
If anyone is available to help, it is greatly appreciated and fun.
-
Road clean up was postponed.
Motion by Charles and second by Willard to
adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 10:40.
Next meeting is December 9th.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia McDermott
