Old Business
Jon picked up the timber from the old bridge and it is now stacked beside the building and
available as needed for trail maintenance. We will need to install a temporary fence around
the pile to prevent children from playing on the wood. There is another bridge being dismantled,
so we will be getting more timbers.
The Minong map is a four county map with 30 businesses sponsoring it. It was sent to the printer
this week and should be distributed in mid June.
Road clean up has been rescheduled to June 5th due to the limited number of people available today.
Patti has scheduled an ATV class for June 18-19 and has asked for members to donate bars, cookies, treats for the class.
Raffle tickets have been printed and are available for sale. Members are encouraged to take a few books to
sell. Last year sales were slow and there were several books that were sold at Food and Fun. A
Kay/Willard motion passed to pay the C & C invoice of $162.50 for cost of printing tickets.
Charles called Como about the last fill in which we were charged $1.99/gallon. They agreed to adjust the price
to $1.49/gallon. This resulted in a $125.00 credit to the club. Thank you to Charles for the savings.
New Business
Jon went to the Wascott Parks and Rec meeting where they decided to change the speed limit in the town to 25 mph on all ATV road routes.
It has also been suggested that Douglas County join the pilot program for allowing side by side UTVs on trails.
There was no AWSC report at Tim was absent.
We were awarded the ECE grant in the amount of $2,000 for the Park and Ride.
Patti is putting together a large kids basket for a board at Food and Fun. She has asked members to donate items
for the basket. A list of suggested items was passed around at the meeting and included things such as
DVDs, puzzle books, creative toys, outdoor games, etc.
Greg Jensen sent an email reporting that Matt will be taking down his server in mid June. Greg did some research
into other local, regional, and distance service companies and suggested, if we want to keep our website,
godaddy.com would be the most economical . The cost for a site our size would be about $4.00 per month. It was
decided to move the site to godaddy.com on a Doris/Mary motion. Doris will advise Greg of the decision to change.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:30 on a Mary/Dick motion.
