The treasurer’s report was approved as read. Motion by Dennis, second by Jon. Motion carried. Thanks to
Bob and Aleda at the Chipmunk for their donation of
meat raffle money to our club.
Old Business
-
The trails are closed. Property along the side of “T” where new route was
added – wood chips have been put to cover the ground so it looks more
natural and not like a trail. We need to ride trail to look for tree
damage after the storm.
-
The groomer is in Grand Rapids for
repairs. The drag was worn and taken to Barker’s General Welding for some
work. Lulich Implement has a mower on a DX they
may sell. Will get a cost on a front off-set.
-
August
5th and 19th are the next meat raffles. We need
volunteers to help at them.
-
The
“No Trespassing” signs along Crystal Lake Rd.
were put up to keep people off the trail during the summer.
-
We will stay with the same rides for F&F as last year.
-
Beer –
add one more. 16 oz. for $2.00. Ask Trina about Bud.
-
Need
to decide if the club should purchase a grill to put on a board.
New Business
-
The
maintenance rates have changed. Also, next year the registration may
increase.
-
80%
will be given back on supplemental this year. There will be a cutting back
on bridges this year.
-
AWSC
is gathering information on insurance costs.
-
Discussed
the possibility of doing a Home and Garden fund-raiser this year using the
whole catalog and not just the candles. It seems to be very busy now and
we will table it for another time.
-
We
should get more chairs to have for F&F.
-
Discussed
using our tickets for F&F as prizes for other organizations and
decided it was not a good idea since it is our only big fund-raiser. All
the tickets are out.
Motion by Charles to adjourn. Second by Willard. Meeting adjourned at 10:42.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia McDermott
