July 25, 2009 - 4 Seasons Recreational Club Monthly Meeting

The secretary's report was approved as read on a Mark/Mick motion.

The treasurer's report was approved as read on a Charles/Dennis motion. A special thanks from the club to Ken and Marlene, Bob and Aleda, and Jon and Robbyn for the donations to the club.

Old Business

Motion by Charles/Dennis to pay Greg the sum of $15.94 for web site costs. Motion carried.

We need an over width permit and plan a day to pick up the drag.

Mark is getting information from Coon's on a PA system.

The rides will be $944.23 - we changed one to a giant slide. Motion to pay on a Dennis/ Willard motion.

The permits for F&F are into town and not back yet.

Can coolers samples are coming so we can see the colors.

We discussed the raffle boards, we need many door prizes. Try to bring them to the next meeting.

Beer: order 3 heavy like Genuine Draft and add one more Leini's and one more light beer.

Discussed getting a little non alcoholic beer and wine coolers.

Tim discussed the cost of signing the new county road routes - $6601.60. With labor it will be about $10,000 which NWTA will pay.

At meeting with representatives of the Integrity Com. from the town, it was decided that the best thing to do is to ask to purchase the land instead of the lease agreement.

Charles will meet with the appraisers the next time they come to Wascott to discuss personal property tax.

New Business

Letters to request donations for F&F are available.

We agreed to exchange tickets with Get er Done Club - one book from each club is the same amount - $50.00.

Discussed requesting Ballpark Road to the buiding as a road route next spring.

Tim: Pokegema Bridge work this year, ATV maps are being funded next year, Tim will work with Mark and Charles on worksheets for this winter, the bills are in and checks will be coming out for supplemental grooming, the advance in September is for 50% of next year, trail on 58th Street in Superior will be moved, Mosinee has approved a summer ATV trail, AWSC insurance has gone up, Bayfield County lawsuit settled and railroad grade will be open, problems are increasing with railroad grades being returned to rails - one trail had 40 bridges on it and high speed rail systems (70 mph) can't be crossed.

Mark is doing a hunter's safety class with Randy in Gordon on August 10-15.

Tim discussed Thrill Kill Bill in Congress.
