January 31, 2009 - 4 Seasons Recreational Club Monthly Meeting

Old Business

• We were accepted for the Operation Round-Up Grant for $2,000.00 to fix the ball field and replace the player’s benches this spring. If you are not yet a member of Operation Round-Up, please check the box on your ECE bill and be a part of a wonderful program. They will round up your bill to the next dollar and that money is used for grants like this.



• We still have tickets left if anyone is interested in taking a book to sell.



• We had a Thank You from the Food Shelf and Children’s Christmas Party.



• The building project is on-going with the sheeting on the walls to be done next. $455.32 was spent for electrical for the addition.



• Tim discussed the County Highway situation and where the committees are at this point.



• We received $130.46 for supplemental money.

New Business

• I sent a hat and shirt to Cozy Corner for the buya and a vest to the Gordon Winterfest as donations. Motion by Mary/Doris to pay for the donations.



• Request for $76.22 to help pay for printer expenses.



• Discussed a new method for raffle tickets this year – one door prize ticket per person. It will save time, money and thousands of tickets. Approved on a Mark/Doug motion.



• Discussed power bill at the ballpark. Since we use more now, should we put in a separate service or pay the whole bill? Motion made and approved to pay the bill by ?/?.



• We are $600.00 into supplemental at this point. We have 60.3 hours on the groomer for this year.



• Discussed the reasoning behind the new $35.00 out of state registration fees.
