February 25, 2006 - 4 Seasons Recreational Club Monthly Meeting
21 members present.
The secretary's report was approved as read. Motion by Chuck McD. Second by Mark H.
The treasurer's report was approved as read with a balance on hand of $6571.92
with $3088.64 in operating expenses and $3483.28 in groomer fund. Motion by Chuck.
Second by Jon.
Thank you to Chipmunk for donation of pull tab and meat raffle money, and Dave Neubauer
for donation of $50.00.
Old Business

Discussion was held about a bill for repair of the building heater.
Club will not pay for motor fan since it was not faulty. Como will put it back in.

Groomer is in Grand Rapids being repaired. It needs a new drive gear
motor bearing. Marv suggested that we hire a hauler next time the
groomer needs to be taken for repairs.

Signs for SWORDS run to direct ATVs to the road have been put up for the day.

We are into the supplemental grooming money at this point.

Instead of grading some of private properties, Chuck Schiller
suggested using a rotor tiller and then seeding one section at a time.
He felt that land owners may like this better.

Meat raffle- March 4th - ? March 18th - Mark and Debbie

Winter ride: Went well, nice trails, 11 people went.

Tour of Businesses: April 8th

Next year Ken suggested that club members volunteer to help businesses
with stamping during SWORDS Poker Run.
New Business

The Town of Wascott is forming a Parks and Rec. Committee. Dick
suggested that someone from the club be on it. The committee
will be 5 members.

Chuck Schiller suggested that we put road signs up at intersections
of town roads and Trail #3. There also needs to be Snowmobile Crossing signs on
the roads. Dick will talk to the town about this. Dick and Chuck S. will
do an inventory of where the signs need to be put. Motion by Marv. Second
by Mick to pursue this idea.

Information from Greg was handed out regarding how many people are
checking our site. The numbers are growing.

Mark reported to the club about new legislation regarding zero
tolerance of drunk driving on Snowmobiles.

Thanks to Trina for donating some hot cups for the club to use at
events. Also, a reminder about flea market coming up on
Memorial weekend.
