Foundation for our donation to Septemberfest.

The wreaths are out to the landowners as a thank you for permission to use their land.
-
Winter Raffle tickets are ready. Please let me know if you are willing to
sell some. They are $5.00 each.
New Business
-
Tim’s report: Tim had 2 checks for supplemental grooming. We discussed our
insurance coverage and we need to tell our company that we now have some paid
miles (commercial coverage). Motion by Tim and second by Charles to explore the
cost of raising our coverage to a million dollars if under $100.00. Motion carried.
There are new trail reporting forms to be used this year to make reporting more
consistent. Tim mentioned that the speed limit will be on the maps this year and
spot enforcement and sound issue are still in effect this year. Tim has maps and
will put out next week. As part of the gaming license, it is illegal to mail out
raffle tickets.
-
AWSC – CAP - may raise the nonresident fee to $35.00. Money would go into supplemental
which would add 3 million to funds.
-
Northwest Trails was audited by the state and praised for the good job that they have done.
-
Bridges at Cut-a-Way Dam and Pokegema are in the hands of the state and trails
won’t be happening at this time.
-
Summer ATV work must be sent in by December 31.
-
Mark will check with Randy Moey about doing a winter snowmobile safety class.
These safety classes may soon be on line.
-
Motion by Charles, second by Mark to pay Tim $100.00 for the ad on the new maps
and get $50.00 back from WTDA. Motion carried.
-
Motion by Mary, second by Mick to pay me for money spent on cookie packages
given as a thank you to some of the businesses who have been so generous with
donations to the club. Motion carried.
-
Membership dates were discussed and Tim will look into the confusion of
having so many different due dates and how that affects member’s insurance.
Membership numbers on March 1st determines gas tax.
-
Discussion was held about once again doing something for the town since we have
some extra money at this point. We need to be careful though because we may soon
need a newer grader or other equipment. Charles made a motion to approach the
town about buying new chairs and if they approve, we would purchase 100 chairs
for not over $2500.00 as a donation by the club to the town. Second by Mick,
carried by agreement of the majority of the members present.
-
Jon suggested a meeting with members of WTDA about what to do with future
donations to our club. He, along with Tim, Marvin, and Charles will meet
with members of WTDA.
-
Marvin asked for a volunteer to plan a snowmobile trip for the winter. Mark will
do it if Don Toon doesn’t. He will talk to him.
-
The new 2007 meeting schedule is out.
Motion to adjourn by Charles, second by Wayne. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned
at 11:20. Next meeting will be January 27th..
Respectfully submitted,
