The treasurer’s report was approved as read. Balance on hand: $2,052.06. Motion by Chuck McD.

Old Business

Trail report: Chuck Schiller has not been on trail lately; he is waiting for rain.

The groomer is ready.

Planks in Minong? Chuck McD. reported that he has talked to lumber companies looking for
something to cover the whole bridge. We want 14 foot if we can find them.

Meat raffle: Tim and Carrie will work Sept 17th.
12 shirts were ordered for prizes to cover the next few months.

Food and Fun: Everyone doing the same as last year. Need more door
prizes. Will make a hand out to give at ticket area about our
club. Need to order satellites. We’ll start at about 10:00 to set up.
Mark will take care of ordering a cooler full of meat to put on a board.
Tim has a tray at home for silverware.

Discussed a new trail connection that was approved by the town board.
Signage should be paid by the persons requesting the connection.
Motion that signs and replacement signs and posts for private roads
are not paid for by the club. Second by Mark. Motion carried.
Chuck McD. will talk to the town.
New Business

County report: NW Trails meeting will be Sept. 12th
in Solon Springs. Info about meth labs will be discussed. Notices
for snowmobile maps are out. A check for summer work will be ready
on the 12th. We will get advance money in October.

Jan reported that there was not much new in the county.
Mick asked for a donation to Halfway House for a golf scramble. The club donated a hat.

We reviewed the ad for the Spooner Mag.

Chuck McD. made a motion that we send a letter to the
Minong club and ask them to remove Wascott from their
name to end some confusion. Second by Jon. Patti will
bring a rough draft to the next meeting. Motion carried.
