The treasurer’s report was approved as read. Motion by Chuck, second by Floyd. Motion carried. A big THANK YOU to the Chipmunk for their donation and Crystal Lake Bar.
Old Business
- Trail report: In early August Chuck S. cleared some of the trails along with Chuck M. and Willard. Chuck S. also ran the grader through the trail.
- The groomer is not ready yet. The mower at Lulich was not off-set. The brush hog works fine and we don’t have much trail to mow. Minong has a pull behind grader that works nice. We may want to consider in the future. We need a little work on the bridge and some clean up of the trail when weather gets cooler.
- Meat raffle – September 16th. The last one was the best we have had.
- Food and Fun: We have plenty of wheel prizes. Greg will be our MC again. It looks like we have about 16 raffle boards. Set up at around 10:00 on Saturday. We have plenty of banners and will put some up in the area. Same amount of beef as last year. We will cook it on Thursday and cut on Friday. We will clean corn at 6:00 at Chipmunk. Jon will call for out houses.
- Last ride the trails were closed. Didn’t seem to be much interest in putting one together again.
- Road clean-up in October.
New Business
- Tim had 2 checks for summer ATV and snowmobile trail work. Supplemental will come in September.
- The bank called about renewing the loan. We hope to pay it off after Labor Day.
- Nominations for election of officers
- Nominations for VP:
Charles nominated Jon. Second by Floyd.
- Nominations for President:
Charles nominated Marv. Second by Mark.
- Nominations will be open again next month. Greg says there is a way to put a ballot on the web site. We can discuss this further.
- Discussed the fact that there seems to be a cost associated with our site that we were not aware of. Matt is hosting the site, and we need to find out what the expenses are so they can be taken care of. Motion by Charles, second by Jon to pay any fees that are required. Motion carried.
- An insurance payment of $337.00 is due. Motion by Marv, second by Bob to make the payment. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn by Mark at 10:35. Second by Willard. Meeting adjourned.
Next meeting Saturday September 30.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia McDermott
